This December, the curtain will rise on Nevada Union Dance Community’s very first Nutcracker—and we’re inviting dancers to be part of bringing it to life.
As the familiar boundaries of her world begin to dissolve, the Christmas tree grows, toys come to life, and danger becomes real. Clara must find the courage to act. Her Nutcracker becomes a Prince, and together they journey into an extraordinary world beyond anything she has known before.
Join Clara as she begins to discover agency, courage, imagination, love, and her own capacity to enter the unknown.

Nevada Union Dance Community is a community enrichment and fundraising program dedicated to expanding access to exceptional dance education while supporting performance opportunities, leadership development, and scholarships for Nevada Union High School students and the Nevada County community…
